Finn invented and trademarked the first Hydroseeder® in 1953. Designed to mix and spray a slurry of seed and fertilizer over broad areas, this was more than a product innovation -- it was the seed that spawned a new industry of turf and erosion control contractors.
Hydroseeding is more efficient than sodding, broadcast seeding, or any other method of establishing turf. Finn hydroseeders use hydraulically driven, mechanical paddle agitation and liquid recirculation to enhance the loading, mixing, and discharge operation.
Finn's exclusive pump design, variety of models, and numerous options provide a robust and operator-friendly hydroseeder while keeping maintenance costs low. No other manufacturer can come close to Finn's offerings for variety, innovation, and dependability.
Your FINN HydroSeeder will keep you busy earning profits with numerous applications, including:
Erosion Control (temporary and permanent)
Landfill Daily Cover
Mine & Oil Field Reclamation
Mechanical Agitation / Variable speed
Hydraulically driven mechanical agitation allows control of agitator speed and paddle direction. Powerful agitators grind entire mulch bales, speeding up the loading process and ensuring thorough mixing of the slurry.
The FINN Pump System
Historically proven to be the most widely used and requested systems, FINN's patented direct-drive "clump" configuration utilizes an in-line, single shaft clutch/ pump design. The clump provides increased torque utilization, which in turn reduces the horsepower needed to spray greater distances. It also saves in maintenance and operating costs.
Unlike many industry competitors, this highly engineered pump handles the thickest slurries. The FINN centrifugal pump can easily be field adjusted to maintain pump pressure, reducing the cost of maintenance, while providing more reliable and consistent performance.
